Malaysia Airlines is the main travel connection between the cities of Kuching and Miri. Aircrafts used on these flights are Fokker F50 and Boeing 734. All flights depart from Kuching International Airport. The flight will take about a hour (non stop) or 2 hours (with a stop) to Miri.

Option 1
You can take a twin-otter plane (operated by Malaysia Airlines) from Miri and then onto Marudi. From Marudi, you can take the express boat to Temala Camp (3 hours). The last leg of the journey requires you to take the land cruiser to Long Bedian (1 hour).
Option 2
You can also take a boat express from Miri and then to Marudil The boat express is the key transportation for going up river to the Long Bedian. You will alight at Temala Camp. Land cruisers (4wheel drives) will be the final part of the journey to Long Bedian. About a hour is needed to reach Long Bedian from Temala Camp.
Option 3
Another option is to travel all the way from Miri to Long Bedian by land cruiser. This journey will take 4 hours.
