Synopsis:

This is the first IEEE Smart Village workshop in Sarawak which is initiated by the IEEE Sarawak Subsection. We are proud to present a panel of international and local experts speaking on various topics such as the challenges, opportunities and solutions for rural communities in Sarawak and Malaysia to support locally owned business, innovation and development. In this not-to-be-missed session, Dr Podmore will outline and share his experience on the community solutions initiatives, followed by Dr Bala highlighting the importance of human centred approach to developing applications, while Dr Tan and Dr Lai will provide insights into the challenges and innovative solutions to implement technologies in rural and remote villages
