The DrPH program comprises 93 credit hours of course work and 29 credit hours dedicated to research. This program spans over a period of three years.

• Intake is once a year, normally in September of every year.
• Course type : Dr PH - Coursework, Field Posting and Research.
• DrPH - Course work ( 93 credit hours ) and research project ( 29 credit hours )

• Possesses a degree of MBBS/MD or other equivalent undergraduate medical qualification from an institution recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• At least one (1) year of post-full registration of clinical experience certified by the relevant authorities.
• Possesses a degree of MPH with at least a CGPA of 3.0 from any Malaysian university or other equivalent institution subjected to the discretion of the Department of Community Medicine and Public Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
• Candidate must be registered with the MMC and possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).

International candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Possesses a degree of MBBS/MD or other equivalent undergraduate medical qualification from an institution recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Possesses a degree of MPH with at least a CGPA of 3.0 from any Malaysian university or other equivalent institution subjected to the discretion of the Department of Community Medicine and Public Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
• Has English proficiency evidenced by the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or TOEFL equivalent.
