Zamalah Graduate Scholarship

UNIMAS Postgraduate Scholarship is a scholarship scheme created to encourage excellent graduate students to continue their Master and PhD level study by research at UNIMAS. The introduction of this scholarship is in line with the universitys efforts to intensify research activities and development parallel with its aspiration to become a well known research based university. Master and PhD students who are reading for a full time based research project with an end result of the creation of thesis, invention or creative output are invited to apply for this scholarship.

International Student Encouragement Scheme (ISES)

International Student Encouragement Scheme (ISES) is a form of monetary benefit awarded to any active full time international student of UNIMAS ('introducer'), who managed to bring new international students to study in UNIMAS. Terms and condition for this award are available from UNIMAS GLOBAL.

  • Open to all researchers who supervise PhD students.
  • The grant will be open to the main supervisor who supervise PhD students registered from 1st September 2018 onwards.

Who can apply

Graduates from the recipient countries of MIS 2022 who:
1. intend to pursue full-time postgraduate studies (Masters/PhD) in Malaysia; or
2. are currently pursuing full-time postgraduate studies in Malaysian public universities and selected private higher educational institutions.

  • Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) is an initiative by the Malaysian Government to attract brilliant minds from around the world to pursue postgraduate studies in Malaysia. This scholarship is parallel with Malaysia's aspiration to emerge as one of the global centres of academic excellence by attracting, motivating and retaining talented human capital from abroad.

  • Interested international graduates with outstanding academic and co-curricular backgrounds are welcome to apply for this scholarship to further their studies in leading Malaysian universities and higher education institutions with the opportunity to enjoy Malaysian hospitality and a world-class higher education experience.

THE MALAYSIAN TECHNICAL COOPERATION PROGRAMME (MTCP)

    • The Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) was established in 1980 as Malaysia’s commitment to South-South Cooperation through the sharing of Malaysia’s development experiences and expertise with other developing countries.

    • The objectives of the MTCP are:

      1. To share experience with other developing countries;
      2. To strengthen bilateral ties with developing countries;
      3. To encourage and promote South-South Cooperation; and
      4. To encourage and promote technical cooperation within developing countries.

 

MTCP SCHOLARSHIP

  • The MTCP Scholarship is sponsored by the Malaysian government and is dedicated to international students from the developing world to pursue their postgraduate studies in Malaysia, whilst at the same time acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills that could contribute to the development of their home country. The duration of the award is between 24 to 36 months for Master’s Degree Programme.

  • The MTCP Scholarship is open to eligible candidates from developing countries. The online application system will be made available from 23rd May 2023 until 30th June 2023.
