The Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts (FACA) is a dynamic and artistic innovative driven faculty formed in 1994 as part of UNIMAS’s mission and vision. FACA is one of the leading Arts Institute in Borneo, with over 1000 active students. The faculty offers programmes with unique and innovative pedagogy that emphasise on creativity, theory, performance, and research to facilitate students achieve success in their academic and professional pursuits. Students also get the chances to explore and engage learning experiences via community engagement projects, entrepreneurship activities, ethical practices, and embark project from multi-dimensional disciplines that not only provide the learning of art theories, but also a channel to exercise students’ latent creativity and expression of innovative ideas.
