The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak started registering its pioneer batch of Medical students in 1995 followed by the students in the Nursing programme in 1998. The Faculty does not compromise when it comes to the academic quality and the curriculum is comprehensive and is geared towards the total development of students in order to prepare them to be competent, autonomous and a team worker. The faculty is supported by more than 140 dedicated professional academics who are always ready to impart knowledge to keen learners.
